Buckling and Stability Analysis in FEM

Buckling and stability analysis in FEM

This course will describe the use of finite element modeling to predict both linear and non-linear buckling and structural instability. The focus will be on modeling details to properly capture the physics of the actual configurations and how modeling approaches influence the ability to correlate accurately with test data. Column, column in column, thin shell, monolithic structures, and composites will be covered with real world examples.
